Elissa’s vast education in design, technology, and product development earned her a Masters degree in Architecture. Her professional experiences with architecture, drafting, and exhibit design fueled her thirst to bring projects to life that serve various clientele.

Fabricator + Owner
Ryan’s background with electronics, mechanics, woodworking, music, and technology have inspired his creative outlet in digital fabrication. Surface Grooves became a culmination of these talents.

Mascot
Elissa and Ryan Blumstein founded the company in 2012 with their diverse creative backgrounds. Tuckley joined the team in 2014 as our mascot and very loyal business partner!
